The
first time I saw the Modeler's Resource kit
"Barely Working", I thought to myself, "Boy, that
kit would be cool if she was wiping blood off her face, and had blood
splattered all over her..." and a project was born.Minor conversion involving
removing the thermos from her belt, sledgehammer, and the most challenging...removing
her from the base. Resculpted these areas, and created a new base
for her. Many thanks to Matt "Pigman" Clemons for putting up with
me trying to decide what to do for the base. Not being a sculptor,
I turned to Matt to cast the head spilling from the garbage bag.
This was taken from a base from another kit. Ax was crudely built
with a flattened wooden dowel and magic sculpt. The blood was created
with a Tamia clear red and burnt umber mix, and splattered on with a toothbrush.
The drip is 5 minute epoxy, painted with the blood mixture. Last 2 pictures
were taken in case I totally screwed this up....whew!

Closeup One of the things I liked Base
about this kit was how
well the ........
hair was sculpted ;)
